Asus Zenfone Max M2 Quick Review
There’s hardly any OEM without bezel-less smartphones on the globe save the OEMs focused on only low-end devices. The Asus Zenfone Max M2 is bezel-less with a notch design at its top. The notch is the dwelling place of its front-facing 8MP camera, light sensor, proximity sensor and earpiece. A small chin appears at the base of the phone to help actualise the 82% screen-to-body ratio. Well, while that’s taken care of, the rear region serves as the home to a couple of other good stuff. Dual 13MP + 2MP cameras, LED flash, Asus logo & the fingerprint scanner are what we’re referring to here. As the fingerprint scanner serves touch ID security, the selfie camera does justice to the Face recognition security. And if you’re a technophobe, the traditional means of safeguarding the smartphone are also at your disposal. On the phone’s surface, the 6.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen runs the display show together with 720 x 1520 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. Android 8.1 Oreo OS is the phone’s sole software. It’s a bit sad the Android 9.0 Pie didn’t get thrown into the formula. At the memory unit, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM are the central dictators of what the phone can store. While the 3GB teams up with Snapdragon 632 SoC, the 32GB ROM can be increased to 512GB with the help of a MicroSD card. Also, heavy duty actions can be done on the device for a very long period thanks to the 4,000mAh Li-Ion battery.
